Terraformation partners with local communities across the globe to accelerate forest growth. We develop rapid-scale technologies to capture carbon and make our planet a better place.

Yishan Wong founded Terraformation with a vision to bring Silicon Valley’s expertise in rapid growth to the climate movement.
He recently completed construction of the world’s largest fully off-grid 100% solar-powered desalination system to alleviate water shortages that hinder arid ecosystem restoration. This relieves a key bottleneck that has prevented mass reforestation from closing the gap on comprehensively solving climate change.
Yishan previously served as CEO of Reddit and Director of Engineering at Facebook, and was an early engineer at PayPal. He lives in Hawaiʻi with his family and dogs.
Our mission is large and we're excited to help get the word out. If the Terraformation PR team can help, just drop us a line and we'll get right back to you: firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Earth needs forest champions. This is where the Terraformation Climate Voices Fellowship comes in.
Carbon Scientist Dr. Victoria Meyer shows how we can quantify the amount of CO2 sequestered in existing and future forests — and use this data to help solve climate change.
