Regenerative Resources

Ghana

Regenerative Resources is working to reforest 240 hectares in the Songhor Lagoon and Keta regions of Ghana, where climate change and sea level rise threaten to devastate mangrove habitats. Terraformation has supported the organization in establishing two native tree nurseries and planting 60,000 trees, with the goal of planting 200,000 total. Since March 2022, Regenerative Resources has employed 60 community members in its restoration efforts — 90% of whom are women.
